Client: NYU McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research
The McSilver Institute asked me to create a series of character animation videos which address a variety of social issues. Their ask was for a simple 2D look, but I took it to the next level and suggested using 3D animated characters in a miniature world, with an almost stop motion feel. They let me run with it. I used Rokoko Studio’s real-time facial motion capture software linked to an iphone with depth camera, to record the lip-sync performance, which was then processed and transferred to my rigged characters in Maya. Such a fun process!

I worked on this series of spots for Maybelline NY with Wax . These called for VFX supervision on-set for HDRI image capture and lighting and texturing giant oranges and cosmetics placed on the streets in downtown NYC.
